Has anyone with hypertension had this medication before at such a low dosage and did it work to keep your blood pressure under control and/or calm you down?

If anxiety is directly related to stress and stress is directly related to hypertension, then I am not buying it. While I have yet to be diagnosed with anxiety, I have been diagnosed with hypertension. The meds didn’t seem to make a whole lot of difference, yet I still continue to live in a constant state of anxiety. Am I really supposed to believe that treatment for anxiety will not help to lower my blood pressure?
