		<description>Most antihypertensives have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and/or abdominal pain as common or less common adverse effects and this may possibly result in a minimal weight loss. But meds such as captopril (Capoten), clonidine (Catapres &#038; Catapres-TTS), hydralazine (apresoline), ramipril (Altace) all have anorexia as a possible adverse effect.

And minoxidil (Loniten) can cause weight gain.</description>
